Shawn and Troy- Columbus Family Photographer

In 2010 I photographed Shawn and Troy’s wedding- and now I’m photographing their amazing family! We all braved the rain for a mini-session under a covered bridge. It was such an awesome location up in Pickerington. I’m so excited to photograph them again in 2012 when the new little one arrives:)  Enjoy! XO Jess

Something cool is in the works….

I don’t know if you follow me on facebook yet, but if you do than you’ll know I’ve been teasing everyone lately with something that’s in the works. I’m not saying a word until it’s launched, but this pic. provides a mini clue….and it’s also just the sweetest picture of my little furry son, Rugby. No, I’m not offering Studio Photography, and no I’m not launching a pet business (but i will take a portrait of your beloved animals!). This big news will be launched on here before Valentine’s day- which is super exciting for me! So keep you’re eyes peeled. XO Jess

Eric and Kelly- Detroit Wedding Photographer

There are weddings- and then there are weddings that will change the way you view weddings. Scott and I drove up to Detroit and photographed this wedding on a perfect but brisk late October day.  A beautiful lake front church and the Grosse Pointe War Memorial  provided a great backdrop for such a day. I have to say- this wedding wins the JMP most crazy fun wedding of 2011 hands down. Not only do they all (and I mean ALL)  know how to party, but you could feel so much love for these two. It was pure joy from everyone that was there- we felt very lucky to be a part of it. Enjoy! XO Jess

Kelly and Rob- Columbus Engagement Photography

If you’re a follower of my work, you’ll remember I photographed Kelly and Rob’s wedding last summer. What was cool about this was we did the “engagement” shoot after their wedding in the fall of last year. The pressure was off, the day was perfect, and the shots are amazing. I’m so happy to have shared in their lives- they are completely cool and laid back- a perfect combination for great shots. Enjoy! XO Jess

David and Amanda-Columbus Wedding Photography

David and Amanda are two of the kindest, funniest, most down to earth people you could ever know. I was so honored when they asked me to photograph their wedding late last year! (Can you believe we’re already on 2012?!) This wedding took place at the Vineyard Church of Columbus in the most beautiful intimate room. The windows were artworks that encased dried flowers and botanicals. The night was filled with love and laughter and I’m so excited to be sharing these pictures with you today on the blog! Dave and Chanelle- Columbus Wedding Photography

If you remember, last fall I took Dave and Chanelle’s engagement photos. It’s amazing how fast the wedding day arrives! They were married at Station 67 in Columbus, which is a VERY cool and unique wedding venue. The main lobby where the ceremony was held is a very intimate, warm and romantic room. The music Dave and Chanelle picked was very moving- but if you haven’t noticed from my Facebook page, music is very important to me. Their ceremony actually made me a little teary eyed. But that shouldn’t surprise you, as I love a good wedding!  Also, some really cool details popped up at the reception. They had a live tweet station in one corner of the ballroom. I read some of them the next day, and they were super funny. One of the things I was most impressed with was that they took one of their engagement pictures i took of them, blew it up wall-size, and broke it up into a geometric pattern. I always encourage brides to make the wedding space their own, and this was just a really cool way of doing it! I was most impressed. Anyways, I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed taking them. XO Jess

Libby and Justin- Columbus Engagement Photography

Libby and Justin often take long walks through Blendon Woods together, so when it came to choosing a meaningful place to take their engagement photos, it was a no brain-er. The day was perfect, the flowers were bursting with color, and these two were so much fun to spend the afternoon with! I’m so excited
